Artist/photographer/Filmmaker

I am a film photographer who focuses on capturing the architectural forest around me. I photograph the world through the lens of my perspective. Much of my inspiration stems from growing up on the East Coast. I grew up surrounded by the ocean, the city, nature, and the changing of the seasons. The city in particular always drew me in, but my passion only grew when I moved to New York. Walking through the architectural forest that is New York City my aesthetic composition became real images. I aim to capture the vulnerability of aged buildings as they slowly get replaced by minimalist skyscrapers.I shoot on a Minolta SRT 101 on various 35mm filtered film. My use of film photography adds to the time-honored aura of the images. I do not use any editing and my pictures are naturally exposed with aperture control within the camera. I want my viewers to see the beauty in the world we so often get bored of and take for granted. When people see my images I want them to reflect on their environment and how fortunate they are to be a part of such an ethereal world. I utilize art through escapism, as it allows me to free my mind of worries. I intend to share this visual experience with any interested public.
